HAPPY DEEPAVALI

It is Deepavali now
The festival of lights
A time when darkness
Is banished
literally and figuratively
from our lives.
The grandeur of this dawn
lights up
the darkest of the nights
Like the happiness
of living to share the joy
And see the smiles
light up
To receive the gift
Of a special day

  9. Sounds like a much better festival than Diwali, the Festival of Insulting a Woman.

(I guess they say, "Happy Diwali, beeyatch!" LOL!)

  10. @eric.. deepavali and diwali are the same festival - festival of lights symbolising the victory of good over bad and dispelling darkness. where did you get the info/idea that diwali is a festival of insulting women? lol!
