An appeal

Religious rituals
Take pride of place
While God is hidden
In the holy books and temples.
Religion, just a means,
Has become an end to achieve.
Man is lost
somewhere in the fight,
to decide whose God is better.
A public manifestation
Of one’s private conversation
with God, leads to mayhem.
Maintain its sacred privacy.

  4. For me being religious is, trying to be a better person.

If people could stop trying to customize God, we would be in a much happier state .

  9. It is best not to wear one's religion on one's sleeve. It is a private communication with God. Well written!

  12. Somehow, religion trotted out to use as a weapon to beat other people into submission just never seems very sacred, does it? It's shocking the evil that's done in the name of good.
