When the temperature in Mumbai dips to 20C we say it is
winter. Since it stays for just a week, no blankets are left unturned. For the
past few days though, winter has been playing games with us, teasing us. There were
times last week when the temperature dipped, but rose again only to dissappoint.

I remember being maha amused when I used to see women sporting shawls and even sweaters when it was 'winter' in Mumbai. But wait, December and Jan might be cooler :)

ReplyDeleteI laugh when my friends from Mumbai says that they have winters. Winters start when temperatures fall below 10C in North. Else it's pleasant...Just kidding...

Hello there Mumbai! Winter you say? See how we all laugh, but that isn't fair. They say they have winter in Florida too and in California, but they aren't playing hockey on frozen ponds. But, still, to all of you in more temperate climes, your winter is winter to you, which I expect can be more pleasant than your summers.
