Freedom

Freedom, a much abused word,
a concept that has connotations
as varied as can be conceived.
To the starving, the assurance
of a meal is freedom
from human bondage.
On a full stomach it is the mind
that demands freedom
to think and share
The joy of creativity.
Democracy is freedom
to decide
Who rules!
