Mumbai monsoons

The heat charred the skies
Which then melted
And poured, after the
Thunder and lightning.

The rains pulled down the
High summer temperatures
And brought the aroma
Of fresh moist earth.
Heavenly it is, the ambiance,
For a singer to burst out in song
And the dancer to do a jig
The monsoons have arrived!

  5. Why only the dancer? Everyone feels like doing a jig when the temperatures and tempers cool down :)
