Wet weekend

An overcast sky
And relentless rain
Mark the onset of a wet weekend.
Am ready to face it
With a book waiting to be read.
I shall gaze out the window
And watch my dreams unfold
On the ever changing moody skies
Full of mischievous clouds
That hop around with the
Swiftness of the breeze.

    Love those "mischievous clouds" --- it rains a lot around where I live, and you can read only so many books. smile playful nice write,,,
