Short lives: Growing up to Die - Book review

Short Lives: Growing Up to DieShort Lives: Growing Up to Die by Braja Sorensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It is believed that just before one dies accidentally, one's whole life flashes through the mind's eye, as a built in survival mechanism to check if one has been in a similar situation before and see how it was tackled.
This book is a similar account of a woman who has been told that she just has a couple of months to live. The book is filled with memories jotted like bullet points right from her childhood to the present moment. The narrative is crisp and light. Good to read. Will also give you an insight into what it was like growing up in Australia in the 70s.
A perfect book if you are commuting and have nothing else to do. Just 56 pages!

I got it as a free download from Amazon.in.

I enjoyed the read.
