My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Very interesting book, full of adventure and as the title suggests Grit, Gravel and Gear, all three are dealt with in detail.
What comes through in this ride of his is not only details about the countries he visits but also the warmth with which he is welcomed almost everywhere. When you read this you wonder where the hate, racism, casteism is.
Travel sure opens up one's mind as it helps in understanding how the world survives and that there are so many more beautiful concepts and cultures than one's own.

If travel and/or adventure is your passion you must read it. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
