Wondrous Vienna

If you are looking for history, culture, music or maybe just a place to romance your loved one or yourself, head for Vienna!

Vienna the capital and the largest city of Austria will not disappoint you. Its beauty will wrap itself around you as you sway to the enthralling strains of Mozart, Beethoven or Haydn. Visit the Prater for some thrilling rides or just a spin on the Ferris Wheel (one of the oldest in the world) and drink in the beauty of Vienna from a bird’s eyeview.

There are plenty of pubs, cafes and fine dine restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets too. the transportation is a breeze in the trams and trains. The people are warm and friendly.

Just be careful that you are not so smitten by Vienna that you forget to get home!

Natural History Museum, London

Had heard a lot of the fabulous museums in London. So started off with the Natural History Museum.

It is indeed amazing. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a massive dinosaur skeleton. At least that is what I thought with my limited knowledge in such things, till we went close and read what was mentioned there.Yes, it was a plant eating dinosaur that lived 150 million years ago and was one 

of the longest land animals that ever existed measuring over 26 metres from nose tip to tail. It was called Diplodocus.

Then we went further up and met up with many more ancient relatives like the Arsinoitherium that 

lived around 35 million years ago and the Mesonyx that hunted in North America some 46 million years ago and of course the various whales.

That was indeed a fascinating walk down history.

On our return to our castle, we reached for the hundred and thirty year old brand of the finest scotch - the Black Dog to unwind in the magnificent history that we had evolved from.

Black Dog gently relaxed our tired bodies and showed what a perfect blend of single malts can do!
